Haydon was originally formed in 1885 by Captain William Haydon as a hardware store, selling everything from sewing machines, lawn mowers and garden equipment to baths, guns and ammunition.
The company was later developed in 1925 when bought by William Hayward and remained in the family until 1994 when the company was sold to Johnson Controls.
The company is now one of the leading mechanical and electrical contractors in the country.
Haydon and Company became a member of the Mears Group in September 1999. Since its membership it has restructured itself to specialise in Design and Build Mechanical and Electrical Projects.
We now offer a range of services from initial design through installation to Aftercare Maintenance. Our Mission is to become our customers' first choice as their Mechanical and Electrical provider.
