Each year we engage about 15 new trainees to work within
the specialist mechanical, electrical and plumbing building
services industry.
These positions ideally suit enthusiastic and self-motivated
individuals who possess a well rounded education with GCSEs
qualifications in English, Maths and Science. You will be
expected to continue your education in the fields of plumbing,
electrics and management
We will provide you with a career development path to become
a skilled and qualified employee.
We will initially provide you with the right NVQ program
to match your skill set, so you can attain “NVQ level
3” in Plumbing and electrical, which will include Customer
Care and Health and Safety training. We will also provide
you with contract specific training.
For management trainees we will put you forward for a ONC/HNC,
which if successful will lead the way to be sponsored for
a degree in Building Services

talent and enthusiasm to working hard in a tough industry,

Haydon Apprentices Secure Two finalist positions in the JTL London Apprentice Awards.
Congratulations to Billy Montgomery and Luke Graney who secured places in the JTL London Apprentice Awards Final 2009.
Over 1200 apprentices took part with Luke and Billy securing places in the Top 12 apprentices in across London. Special congratulations to Luke Graney who secured 3rd place.
This is clear testimony to the industry that Haydon Mechanical & Electrical (HME) are the company to work for as we develop a structured career development path for the young ones in our business.
It also highlights the key role our Labour and Training Manager (Brian Brownett) and our on-site training mentors provide in the successful development of our young apprentices.
