Our focus is on achieving enduring environmental, economic and social benefits for buildings and their surroundings as well as for those who own and use them, today and for the future. We evaluate carefully, choose innovative materials that minimise environmental impact, and use systems and resources that are both sustainable and cost-effective. Along with prefabrication and modularisation methods, and use of locally produced materials wherever possible, our approach reduces carbon emissions, improves energy performance and cuts waste.

Our solutions address all the areas that MEP services can influence, such as energy sources and savings, carbon emissions, water conservation and waste management.
Critically, we work to identify environmentally sustainable strategies as early in the life of a project as possible, such as the use of ground source heat pumps, solar energy, combined heat and power (CHP), combined cooling, heat and power (CCHP), biomass heating, rainwater recovery, wind turbines and ground-air heat exchange.

Our in-depth knowledge of BREEAM assessments, the Code for Sustainable Homes, and energy performance certification (EPC) enables us to integrate clever solutions into a project’s design in line with the required standards and clients’ budgets. For new homes we can readily meet Code for Sustainable Homes requirements up to Level 6.
